New Designs in the Works for 2026
Has anyone else had a slow start to the year? It’s taken me a little while to find my footing in 2026, but things are finally starting to flow again in the studio. One of the surest ways for me to reconnect with the creative process is by returning to wax carving. There’s something about working directly with wax—shaping, refining, and experimenting—that always grounds me and sparks new ideas.
Right now, several new designs are in wax form and getting ready to head out for casting, which is always an exciting stage of the process. Seeing ideas move from sketch or concept into a physical form never gets old.
New Accessory Charms
The first two waxes are for an all-new line of accessory charms, and I’m especially excited to add them to the collection.
One design is a graphic heart featuring my favorite Scala ribbing motif. The texture gives the heart a bold, sculptural quality while still keeping the form simple and recognizable.
The second charm is my very first four-leaf clover. I’ve been wanting to design a clover for years, but I always felt like the timing—or the project—wasn’t quite right. When I started working on these accessory charms, it finally clicked. A four-leaf clover felt like the perfect symbol to include: classic, meaningful, and a little bit lucky.

A Shift Toward Smaller Jewelry
In the jewelry department this year, I’m feeling drawn toward smaller hoops and studs. For a long time I gravitated toward larger hoop earrings, but lately my attention has been turning to more petite pieces.
The first new hoop design features a diagonal Scala rib motif and comes in a perfectly petite size. Even though the scale is smaller, the hoop has a broad profile so it still makes an impact when worn.
I’ve also been wanting to create some very small studs—especially pieces that work well for second piercings. To start, I designed two mini bar studs: one with crisp angles and another with soft curves. They’re minimal but distinctive, and I can see them pairing beautifully with hoops or making a subtle statement all on their own.

Coming Soon
All of these pieces have moved from wax, to master casting, and now in the stage of production casting. It’s always exciting to reach this stage, when designs begin their transition from prototypes into finished jewelry.
I’m looking forward to sharing more as these pieces come back from casting and begin to take their final form. Stay tuned!
